Pilgrimage has always been an expression of a deeper journey into the Divine heart of God, into the soul of the pilgrim, and into the lives of others we meet along the way. The Camino de Santiago de Compostela has been travelled since the 9th century by those seeking spiritual insight, physical challenge, a sense of community and for a host of other reasons. Walking the Camino is a place of renewal through an embodied spirituality that speaks to the heart of those who are listening for the sacred in their daily lives.
That’s why we are excited to invite you to join us on the journey to Santiago next April 24 - May 7, 2027!
We have personally planned and arranged accommodations from beginning to end to make your pilgrimage a well-planned, beautiful trip of a lifetime. Our experiences on the Camino have not only been life-changing for us but have equipped us to assist other pilgrims to join us on this journey.
We are honored to offer this pilgrimage and welcome you to a life-changing journey. For details on the upcoming Spring pilgrimage, read the information below to help you discern if you’re ready to make the journey.

About the Camino de Santiago
The Camino or the Way of St. James is a network of pathways leading to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, northwestern Spain, where tradition holds that the remains of the apostle James are buried. Pilgrims follow its routes for many reasons including as a form of spiritual formation or retreat for their spiritual, physical, mental, and social growth.
Our Camino route travels a portion of the Portuguese path and includes a section known as the Spiritual Variant. We will gather in Tui on the evening of April 23 for a “Welcome to Camino” dinner. We will then begin walking from Tui, Spain on April 24, 2027, and end in Santiago de Compostela, Spain on May 7, 2027. (We recommend you plan to arrive as many days early as you deem appropriate to acclimate and deal with jet lag and time change prior to beginning your pilgrimage.)

In 2023 Ernesto made his first 10-day Camino trip along the Portuguese path. It opened a new experience into his own spiritual development, and he knew he would return again. In 2024 he made his first 500-mile trek from the border of France across Spain over the course of approximately five weeks. Both Ernesto and Marsha returned in the Fall of 2024 to walk the Portuguese path with the Spiritual Variation for a 12-day trek. In 2025 Ernesto made another 500-mile pilgrimage across northern Spain, and this year he completed his fifth pilgrimage on the Portuguese path beginning in Porto Portugal.
Marsha’s love of pilgrimage includes walking the Camino, but she has also focused on the pilgrimage of the heart, as it says in Psalm 84. She has been a faithful guide for others on their personal inner pilgrimage for the past 15 years as a certified spiritual director and integrates this gift into the Camino experience.
Together, their experience will support and guide you physically through the Camino path, and spiritually through pathways of the soul.
Buen Camino!
